Every good bakery needs a good reason to exist.
The Pawtisserie started with Lili Bear Bakery, a little dog treat business created with a whole lot of love for the goodest dogs.
In May 2026, Lili Bear Bakery became part of the Sugar Bytes family, and I couldn't bear to let the little bakery—and everything that made it special—disappear.
So we gave it a new home.
Sugar Bytes Pawtisserie by Lili Bear Bakery is where the Sugar Bytes kind of magic meets the dogs we love. It's a place for birthday cakes, party treats, biscuit boxes, surprises, and all the little ways we celebrate the very good dogs who make our lives better.
Because let's be honest: they give us unconditional love, greet us like we've been gone for ten years when we've been gone for ten minutes, and somehow convince us that sharing our dinner is a completely reasonable thing to do.
The least we can do is give them cake. 🐾HOW LILI BEAR FOUND ITS WAY HOME
Sometimes the best things take the scenic route.
A few years ago, I saw a post in our local Be Neighborly group from Nikki, who owns Pickles, looking for someone to bake treats for the dogs.
Naturally, I sent her an email.
And then… nothing.
Well, not nothing. She told me she'd get back to me.
She just apparently needed a few years to do it. 😂
Fast forward a bit, and my networking group started meeting at Pickles. Nikki and I started talking, getting to know each other, and somewhere along the way, we became business besties.
During one of our meetings, Nikki was talking about her businesses and mentioned that she'd love to find someone to take over the bakery.
I raised my hand.
And that's where the conversation started.
A couple of months ago, I found that original email I'd sent her all those years ago. 2021, maybe? There it was, sitting in my inbox, along with her promise that she'd get back to me.
Spoiler alert: she eventually did. 😂
And honestly, it just made sense.
I love dogs.
I love baking.
I love creating things that make people—and apparently their dogs—happy.So how could I say no?
And that's how Lili Bear Bakery found its way to Sugar Bytes.
Now, she's part of the family—and the Pawtisserie has a new home.
SO, WHAT'S IN THE PAWTISSERIE?
The Pawtisserie is where dog treats meet a little bit of celebration magic.
This isn't just a place to grab a biscuit for the dog. It's a place to celebrate the fact that our dogs are family—and sometimes family deserves pupcakes.
